Baggage Policy FAQ

1. Q: How much do I need to pay for my excess baggage?

A: Currently, there are no charges imposed on excess baggage and passengers are advised to limit their luggage to 20kg per person.

2. Q: What should I do if my bags are lost, delayed or damaged?

A: Please contact PHIFT Ferry Operator at +607 5600 542 (Tg. Balai, Karimun) or at +607 5600 538 (Harbour Bay, Batam) and complete Lost and Found form from Customer Service Counter. PHIFT Customer Service Counter will liaise with the Auxiliary Police to locate your luggage and will work with you to trace your luggage.

3. Q: How will PHIFT compensate for lost baggage?

A: Ferry Operator and PHIFT shall not be liable for loss or damage to the baggage. Passengers are advised to buy separate travelling insurance for their own baggage.
